Tonight, on a shortened Monday night edition of Trackside with Curt Cavin and Mark Jaynes as he fills in for Kevin Lee, they recap the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg as Alex Palou held off Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden to officially start his championship defense. They also talk about how Mark’s call went on the IndyCar Radio Network along with how some races have added extra laps. Later, they talk about Will Power’s crash and how it looks on him as he is in a contract year and Pato O’Ward’s charge from 23rd to 11th.  

Later in the first hour of the show, Curt and Mark talk about the impressive weekends from Christian Lundgaard and Rinus VeeKay. They also talk about the passing of Lee Kunzman. Later, they talk about Katherine Legge making her NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend from Phoenix and briefly talk about Christopher Bell going back-to-back winning at Circuit of The Americas.  

To wrap up wrap up another edition of the show, Curt talks about Kevin getting back in the pits for FOX and in the booth for Indy NXT.
