When it comes to “going viral” via the internet, theres no denying that Young Cartel was one of the first to do it within the Boston social media space. This all started from a feud with 808 Mafia & Waka Flocka Flame years ago. It led to media coverage from a multitude of blogs and even caught the attention of Akademiks. While this sit down was not really intended to talk about that, it is what made the name Young Cartel known on a national scale. 
After serving a 5yr sentence and being released in 2020, Cartel is making his return to music and while going back and forth from Boston to LA, we figured its time we find out what he’s been up to. His latest Cam Capone News interview has conjured up some feelings of resentment towards him because of some words he used about “Boston Rappers” and more. We actually wanted to dive into some allegations that haven’t been addressed in quite some time on a local level which led to a very interesting conversation to say the least!!! Feed The Family is undoubtedly one of the strongest movements to have come out of Boston within the recent years. Springfield, MA: “The City of Firsts” or “Hoop City” as it is known by many nationwide, is known for a number of things. It’s the home of The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the home of WWE legend John Cena amongst other notables, and while the crime rate has shown a decline over the past few years, the Hampden County city is still notoriously known as the most dangerous place in Massachusetts per capita. As much as we can talk about statistics and the things that tourists know, this week we welcome a real person from Springfield who actually has walked those streets and is pounding the pavement to make sure his town in in the talks of Hip-Hop as well. The Southside of Brockton has always been infamous for a multitude of things. With our mission statement to push the culture forward on multiple accords we take another week off from talking to an artist and invite a guest who's influence goes beyond the music. This will be the 2nd time we invited someone who is within the fashion space but instead of a designer we welcome a name within our city who shakes the room with his presence of music influence which ties into multi facets. Herv Gotti is a tastemaker who might have been known early on as a music manager for the likes of Rosewood Bape but today he shares his energy with so many different aspects of creativity.
