This week’s episode we try to explain The Matrix as a trans allegory through post-apocalyptic fashion and costume. Since the ultimate cyberpunk trio that is Neo, Trinity and Morpheus hit our screens in 1999, their sleek black shades, leather clad apparel and overall sci-fi aesthetic have found their way onto almost every runway and, more importantly, into our wardrobes.
