ABOUT THE EPISODE Misericordia University announced they're adding Men's and Women's Wrestling for 2024-25. The Cougars named Josh Roosa the first ever Head Coach in program history. Roosa comes over from Kings College, he was the Head Coach the last 2 seasons and helped rebuild the roster and the Monarch program during his tenure. Roosa is a PA native and had an outstanding High School Career before becoming a starter and NCAA Qualifier at Bloomsburg University. Roosa also had assistant coach stops at Buffalo and Applachian State.

ABOUT THE EPISODE Long-time Lycoming Head Coach Roger Crebs joins the show to discuss his tenure with the Warrior Wrestling program as a wrestler and Head Coach. Roger is going into 31st year as Head Coach at Lycoming, he was a three-time MAC champion from 1984-86 and has been inducted into the District 4 Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2011, the NWCA Division III Hall of Fame in 2012 and the West Branch Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. He has coached 53 conference champions, 32 All-Americans, five national champions and all eight of the school’s 100-match winners.

ABOUT THE EPISODE University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Assistant Coach Shane Siefert joined the show to talk about his time as a student-athlete and Coach with the Warhawks. Shane was a three All-American for UWW and 2x National Finalist at 197, recorded 105 Career Wins, and he was part of three NCAA Team Trophy performances and has helped mentor multiple All-Americans at UWW during his tenure on staff.

ABOUT THE EPISODE SUNY Cortland Tommy Prairie joins the show to discuss everything Cortland and his journey to upstate NY. Prairie has been a Head Coach at DIII Plymouth State (NH) and Washington & Jefferson (PA), he wrestled at Williams College where he was a was a three-time All-American at 125 pounds, including a national runner-up finish in 2005, a third-place showing in 2003 and a fourth-place finish in 2004. We also discuss his time at Blair Academy during his post-graduate year and the experience he had at the top High School wrestling program in the country.

Coach Brunk just wrapped up his 20th season at Messiah and has built the Falcons Wrestling program into a national contender. He has compiled a 242-132 dual meet record at Messiah, helped lead the program to team trophy finishes in 2014 (3rd) and 2016 (2nd), and has 4 NCAA Champs and 34 All-Americans during his tenure at Messiah.

ABOUT THE EPISODE 2023 NCAA Finalist and U23 Greco World Team Member Kaleb Reeves joins the show to discuss his amazing weekend in Geneva, Ohio and having the opportunity to represent the USA at the 2023 World Championships at 130 KG. Reeves was a 3x All-American for Coe College and is the career and season pin leader for the Kohawks. Reeves plans on staying at Coe and continuing to train to prepare for competition at the senior level.

ABOUT THE EPISODE Baldwin Wallace Men's Head Wrestling Coach Jamie Gibbs joins the show to talk about their outstanding season and 3rd place finish at the 2023 NCAA Championships. We also discuss his tenure with the Yellow Jackets program and rebuilding them to a national power plus his other coach stops. Jamie Gibbs was All-Iowa Conference selection and a two-year starter and team captain at Coe (Iowa), he was also a national qualifier and a National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American at Iowa Central Community College.
