  • 77. Can Having A Coach Help You?

For the majority of us, the last time we had a coach was probably high school sports. I'm here to say that you can get a coach in your adult life in many different aspects of your life and it will make a huge difference!

Imagine trying to get somewhere across the country with no map... pretty difficult right?

This is what we are all trying to do with life, figure it out on our own.

But, what if somebody had already been there and could show you the way, step by step? Much easier!

That's the difference having a coach makes.

Listen in this week to hear about my recent experience with my own strength coach, Hayden Pritchard.

  • 76. What Would Happen If You Spent A Whole Month Focused On Your Relationship?

We have 30 day programs for almost everything, except nobody ever thinks to spend 30 days focused solely on their relationship.

So, what would happen if you spent 30 days putting your relationship first? Before everything else in your life? My wife and I put that idea to the test!

Intimately Us is an app used to bring couples closer together, and every September they do a challenge called Sextember.

I know what you're thinking... It's not just about sex, sure there are some steamy elements to it, but the overall goal is to remember that a couple is a team, working toward the same goal, happiness.

Today I talk about the good and bad of spending a month focused on your relationship, and what we got out of this Sextember Challenge.

If you haven't already, please try out the Intimately Us app, it is a helpful tool, and can be used throughout the rest of the year, and is a helpful reminder to put in daily effort towards your relationship.

You can download the app HERE

  • 73. Something is Better Than Nothing with Mark Novak

This week I was able to talk to Mark Novak, the owner of The Strong Dad Club!

Mark is a husband and father of 2.

Mark helps busy father's learn how to use what little time they have, to do what they can with what they have, in order to get healthy and strong.

My favorite saying of his is that "something is better than nothing." Which I have taken and applied to the majority of areas in my life.

This doesn't only work with health and strength people!

Even though Mark is an avid Boston Bruins hater, we were able to get along well enough to bring you plenty of wisdom about getting strong as a dad, and why he believes it is foundational for everything else in our lives.

  • 71. Make Your Life Easier By Working On Your Systems

Just writing down our goals is a great start, but it doesn't change anything.

We have to build our systems to get us where we want to go in life.

Right this second we are a product of our current systems, good, bad or indifferent.

We have the ability to revisit these systems and revamp them so that they fit the goals we are trying to accomplish!

Come along with me on this trip down memory lane as I speed ramble about as many mistakes as I can in under a half hour.
