In this week's episode, the dads discuss an absence of more talked about OWA picks in 2018. Has the quest to craft a perfect bourbon come at the detriment of a trusted "antique" bourbon? We discuss and then have a blind tasting of some of the best OWAs so far in 2018 from Jack's, Tippins Market, Legacy, Lincoln Road, and Cap n' Cork to determine our favorite.

Fresh off of time off for the birth of his new daughter, Zeke is back and ready to tackle one of the biggest issues in bourbon today: Has MGP jumped the shark? We've seen great whiskey from Lawrenceburg, IN, but has the market become too saturated with MGP products? Are they worth the prices people are paying? The dads tackle all of this and more in our latest episode.

We know you all miss Zeke and his mustache, so we planned ahead. Before his daughter was born, we caught up on some blind samples that you the listeners had sent us, this is the first round of it. Hear the Dads sample three bourbons blind that they have no idea what they are. The results were locked in an envelope only to be brought out at the end. We're humbled at the opportunities we have had through this podcast, and this episode was an example. Although much was not recorded, we held a tasting to benefit St. Jude. Listen as the group recaps what they learned, and have a blind tasting of three different Four Roses recipes so to further test their palates. In the end, it was a great night with new friends drinking whiskey and sharing a great experience.
