As dads, most of us know that communication matters at home, at work, in your business, and in the community. But what sets effective leaders apart from the pack is the ability to communicate clearly. As leaders of our homes and other circles, it’s critical to learn how to communicate effectively to avoid being an outlet of frustration to the people around us.
But clear communication isn’t just about getting the message across in any form. It’s also about being intentional about the way we respond.
As emotional human beings, we do have the tendency to react instead of responding. Some focus on the problem too much instead of paving a path towards a solution. Some also fall into the trap of providing every solution possible instead of empowering others to come up with solutions on their own.
In this episode, discover ways how to communicate clearly and effectively so that others around you will be inspired to take ownership and be empowered to come up with solutions.

Many people think that success only comes to those who are presented with unique opportunities early in life. They believe that you inherit the quality of life you witnessed growing up, which means that if you were born poor, you would probably stay poor, too. But Travis and his family proved that it’s always about choice. His dad chose to create opportunities for himself to break away from the poverty he was born into.
Travis did the same and is now intentional about showing the same power to his kids — that they can always make the right choices to achieve the life that they want. He spent his entire life preparing for a career that he later realized he didn’t really want and decided to harness the natural gifts he had to answer an entirely different calling he didn’t realize he had.
Tune in to this episode to learn more about how to honor the unique gifts you were given and take the right risks so that you can achieve the life you never thought was possible.
“You’re gonna learn more and be more fulfilled and happy in the pursuit of your dreams than you are in the absence of the pursuit, even if you don’t accomplish them. So why not pursue them to begin with?” - Travis Chappell

AC has been a single father for 15 years and understands the daily struggles that single parents like him deal with. Though society has these stereotypes about dads raising their kids on their own, he became intentional in moving away from the status quo by being intentional in pouring his heart into fatherhood and being as present as he could to his kids.
Because of all the lessons he learned throughout his journey of being a single parent, he realized that many other single dads are out there looking for inspiration. He knew they were looking for people to connect with, but knowing how men work, he also knew that their instinct is usually to disconnect and distract themselves when things get tough.
That’s why AC decided to make it his life mission not just to be a great dad to his kids but also to help other single dads thrive in their own journeys.
Tune in to this episode to learn more about how to hurdle through the challenges of heading a single-parent household while finding ways to inspire and connect in the process.
“There’s always seasons of distress. There’s always challenges along the way. The more prepared you are for those and the more you have that love for that person in your life and the more you pour into them, the more it comes full circle. Your needs eventually get met.” - Adam ‘AC’ Sutton

Consistency is one of the biggest things men struggle with, especially when they have big goals in mind. So many men start new habits, optimistic about the end goal, only to fall short of their own expectations and feel like they’re back to square one.
For Adrian Del Monte, there are only two things you need to remember when it comes to consistency and growth – your vision of where you want to be and intentionally checking on every step to see if it’s part of the plan to get you there.
The journey is often long, and there will be a few blocks along the way. You might start comparing yourself to an Instagram dad who seems to have a perfect life, or you might miss out on building a good system that aligns with your purpose. But as long as your vision is clear, there are ways to stay strong and consistent to get to where you want to be.
Tune in to this episode to learn more about how to achieve growth through consistency.
“Growth involves two things – a vision of where you want to be and then asking yourself daily, ‘Are the things I’m doing right now the things that are gonna get me there?’.” - Adrian Del Monte

Society has often taught men to bury their feelings and to toughen up through adversity. While this leads to valuable lessons on grit and resilience, these buried feelings become unresolved issues; these unresolved issues turn into deep wounds that impact how we live life.
Ryan, a performance coach and business consultant, saw the same pattern in most of the men he worked with. The constant need to upgrade and upskill has driven them to steer away from who they truly are and become someone they’re not.
That’s why Ryan knew that he had to share this with the world – that everything we need to be truly great has always been inside of us. We just need to stay authentic and work through the wounds so that we can have a different perspective on the path that we have to take.
Tune in to this episode to learn how addressing our wounds can unlock the greatness within us so that we can live the amazing lives that we’re meant to have.

David’s life might seem generally okay. But it wasn’t until he was staring at himself in the mirror on the darkest days of his life, hearing God tell him, “David, I can’t fix this for you,” did he realize that he had to do something different to take control of his path.
David always seemed like the kind of guy who had everything figured out. He had an education scholarship, but he turned it down because he knew it wasn’t the right path for him. He eventually worked at becoming a pastor, but realized that he wasn’t meant to be confined to the four walls of a church. Even when he was young, he also had a lot of things going on – from sports to academics, from ministry work to other extra-curricular activities.
What he only realized later on was that he was filling his life with distractions because he wasn’t living a fulfilling life. He became a good husband, a great provider, and even got the usual things any guy would dream of – from the corner office to an amazing income. It wasn’t until he learned how to hold space to become who he truly wanted to be instead of merely ticking all the boxes of what society saw as success did he truly become happy.
Tune in to this episode to learn how to create your own identity and be the man you want to become to live the fulfilling life you’ve always wanted.
