I got the pleasure of creating a new energy in my home yesterday as we presented my husband with a new recliner for Father’s Day, to put in our front room (which has also been our art room for the past seven years or so. The room was already overloaded with furniture, so this was a beautiful moment of sacrifice on my part and the part of my girls. We allowed my husband to select the perfect corner of the room where he wanted to sit and relax throughout the day. Then we built the room around his choice.

For those of you who don’t know, Clint is disabled, and is in constant pain. You would never know because he is super positive and happy all the time. But this is one thing we can do for him to help him be just a tad bit more comfy.

The feeling that reverberated around our home yesterday was that of honor, unconditional love and charity. It seriously created such an amazing energy in our home because we were focused on the ONE.

The feeling of home permeates any space where you are in my heart. Even states apart, we can feel at home immediately when we think of family. It’s always fun to travel and experience the beauty and culture of other places, and there is nothing like coming home.

But what of those who don’t have family, a single person living alone, or someone’s close relatives have all passed on? We are all part of the same royal family with a Heavenly Father and a brother who is our Savior and King. The Holy Spirit links us all together eternally. We are all worthy and valued inherently. And love is the glue that holds us all together.

• I am producing
• I am making progress
• I am doing well and continuing to improve

I woke up this morning to my husband tickling my back, then went upstairs to do a little yoga stretching to wake up my body. As I walked past my front entry, I noticed a vase of roses that was past its prime. Grabbed the vase to throw the flowers out and the fragrance of the roses hit me. Wow! I couldn’t believe they still smelled so great!

By that time, I was fully awake! Mind, body and soul.

We have more senses than just the five basics of smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste. When we take the time to notice, we can sense the energy, vibration and light of another human being. We all have the sense of intuition that can be honed with practice. There is a sense of excitement and anticipation that happens when we have expectation of great things to come. Faith is a sense. The ways we can sense our physical and spiritual world are endless!

Mary, on our call today mentioned how grateful she is when something wakes her up out of a trance or fog. We can get so tied to our mundane tasks that we can be unconsciously led down a path of mediocrity. A quote on facebook, a random thought, an experience that shakes us up. Anything can serve to wake up our senses if we allow it.

• I focus on what’s important in the present moment
• I know that I am guided by intuition
• My intuitive sense is finely tuned and I easily trust it
• I am following my intuition
• I ask and follow my inner sense of truth
• I intuitively sense the right path for me

We had some technical difficulties with the recording on our call today (Gratitude for Natural Abilities) so I am posting a different call from October 10, 2018 that has never been posted: Gratitude for Communication.

Speaking with others helps us find common ground. Now days, we have the ability to communicate instantly through cell phones and internet. Fifty years ago people were able to accomplish amazing things, even though their main form of communicate was face to face or through letters that took sometimes weeks or months to arrive! 

What more can we accomplish with the instant communication available to us? We have much higher capability now!

Our current access to technology allows us to take control of decisions based on the best information in the present. Access to God through prayer and meditation is always the most up to date information.

We have access to knowledge of health, we can communicate with our doctors and health coaches. And online reviews open up the ability to choose how we take care of our health. There is open communication that invites us to CHOOSE in a way we never could before!

• I am great at communicating, listening and understanding.
• I am great at discerning communication beyond verbal
• I boldly communicate for the perfect outcome
• I am prepared and I am good at preparing others to receive through communication 
• I use the best methods of communication and technology to make the most up to date and current decisions

A couple who I am mentoring right now, have only been able to see their differences. In discussion yesterday, I pointed out how they really both want the same things! And they are perfectly matched to help each other learn what they need to learn.

Common ground can help us identify people and communities where we belong, where we fit. We all have at least a couple things in common: We all live on earth, and we are all part of the same human family. Beyond that, it takes a little delving to discover commonalities.

I can even choose to change my perception and my opinion after I have found common ground with someone whose opinion differs from mine. Arguments can be diffused by finding common ground. 

I have noticed that going into a conversation with the intention of being authentic (and with positive energy) is the best way to discover the truth about a person or community and whether their truth resonates with mine.

I love our gratitude call. There are tons of people who resonate with gratitude! Even if they are not on our call, we know there is a greater community out there where we are on the common ground of gratitude.

Christ is the great mediator. He is common ground for all those who choose Him. That one truth can be a starting place for just about anyone to authentically connect.

• We are all the same, we want the same things: to be happy and loved

Today’s subject of gratitude was inspired by some conflict I have been feeling about all the new homes being built around me in my beautiful, quiet, peaceful rural community. Conflict, because I love my mountain and farmland views that are being bulldozed, and because I also love the new friendships we are building with our new neighbors.

My new commitment is to work on my own spaces, inside and outside my home, to create beauty and peace on the plot of land I have been given. This creates not only peace, gratitude and contentment for me, but others will have a nicer view as they look my way as well.

Calendar spaces, the space of our bodies, spaces in our homes all require letting go of some things to make space for what really is important. It really does take an abundance mentality to let go. And then we can intentionally place things, appointments, food, commitments in the perfect spaces to create order, growth and connection.

Today, I Give Myself Permission to Order My Space

• I create the perfect space for me and what I am creating
• I have space for God within me
• I am at choice with what I fill my space with
• I freely give the extra items in my space that clearly belong to someone else
• I claim those things that are a perfect fit for me and my space
• I am clearing space to create
