The focus for today is: I choose to be kind to the planet.
Life is the most precious of all treasures. Each one of us has been given this invaluable gift and each one of us is irreplaceable.
The bearers of life -- the Universe, the Earth and mothers -- cherish their children. A Kenyan saying goes: "You must treat the earth well. It was not given to you by your parents. It is loaned to you by your children."
The most important thing for the twenty-first century is that we expand throughout society a profound compassion toward life. If we do so, war and the suppression of human rights will disappear. So will the destruction of the environment.
