The focus for today is: I choose to honor, respect, and appreciate myself.
We've all heard of the commandment that tells us to "Honor thy father and thy mother." But nowhere are we told to honor ourselves...
What does honoring ourselves even mean? It means treating ourselves as well as we would treat other people we honor, appreciate, and respect.
It means making time for ourselves, to rest, to heal, to eat well, to nurture ourselves, to take care of our body, mind, and spirit. We need to honor and respect ourselves as well as we honor and respect the other people in our life.
