Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration
The focus for today is: I attend to my life with reverence that comes from the heart.
When I think of reverence, I think of respect, honor, and love. When we revere someone, we see the best in them, we see their Divine Self.
The word Namasté comes to mind which in its simple form means "I bow to you" and is further interpreted as:
I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light and of peace.
When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are one.
What a mantra to live by! Seeking to find and recognize the place within all beings that is rooted in love, truth, light and peace. A challenge for sure! Yet the more we recognize and revere that light within others, the more they will be able to find it within themselves. And the more we look for it in others, the more we will bring it to the forefront of our own being.
