Where there is choice there can be no discernment - discernment is CHOICELESS. Where there is choice and the CAPACITY to choose, there is only LIMITATION. When choice ceases, there is LIBERATION, FULLNESS, richness of ACTION, which is LIFE itself.

CREATION is choiceless, LIFE is choiceless, UNDERSTANDING is choiceless, TRUTH is choiceless. TRUTH is continuous ACTION, an ever-becoming, in which there is no choice. It is pure DISCERNMENT.

This podcast is in Hindi. For Mananirodha (Nirodha or cessation of the mind), there is no better means than Atmavichara (self-contemplation).

Through Pranayama also, the mind can be pacified. The source of both the mind and the Prana is the same.

To still the mind, a diet made of Sattva (serenity, equanimity) Guna is of primary importance. Sattva Guna increases in a person having a Sattvik diet.

Only when the mind is free from choice is there liberation. All craving is blinding. Your choice is born of fear, of the desire for consolation, comfort, reward, or as a result of cunning calculation.

When you choose, as you do choose, your choice merely creates another set of circumstances which results in further conflict and choice.

Your choice, which is born of limitation, sets up a further series of limitations, and these limitations create the consciousness which is the 'I', the ego.

This podcast is in Hindi. In this podcast, Swami Niranjanji reminds us that the moment we realize that we are different from our breath, we also realize that we are different from our body. We become aware that we are the witness (Sakshi), the Self (Atma). This realization gives us liberation (Mukti)

On Incompleteness.

People work for results. Their action is not complete.

You must become conscious that you are a prisoner and you are continually trying to escape from incompleteness.

The moment you become aware of poison, the poison ceases to be a problem for you.

Most people do not know the cause of their incompleteness.

From incompleteness arises the search for comfort and authority.
