Scripture reveals God as Jehovah Jireh, the Provider. Yet we can look at our lives and question whether or not He still provides in the current age. In this discussion on spiritual life lessons, Eric Ludy and Nathan Johnson talk about the question "does God still provide for our needs today?"
» a study in the preeminence of Jesus Christ
Preeminence is such a wonderful word. Especially when it is associated with the Person of Jesus Christ.
A very simple definition of the word would be — holding first place.
So often the modern church promotes the sub-ideas of Scripture into the first place position, that solely belongs to Jesus. And when this happens, it harms the Truth and it harms Christian life.
In this message Eric labors to remove the fog bank that often surrounds the theology and doctrines of the Christian faith and zeroes in on what matters most of all. It shouldn’t be shocking to anybody that knows and has lived out true and vibrant Christianity that what matters most of all is Jesus.

» a study in the shocking condescension of Jesus Christ
There are moments along the journey of the Christian life when we grasp a bit of it, but for the most part it’s too extreme for us to mentally comprehend the shocking condescension of Jesus Christ coming to this earth, being born a baby and being laid in a feeding trough.
The Almighty lowering Himself to the level of a bondservant is hard enough to compute, but for Him to venture forth as a lamb unto slaughter, silently bearing the mockeries and magnificent tortures of a sinful race . . . on our behalf — we often just don’t get it.
We hear the words, but don’t fully understand the gravity of the words.
Though this series won’t be able to lessen the bewildering nature of Christ’s divine condescension, it is our hope that it helps you see it more clearly, and hopefully, grip it more thoroughly with awe and wonder.
