The Resurrection Experience. 5

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus. We thank God for His love and grace, which allow us to reflect on the power of the resurrection.

The resurrection experience that led to Jesus' death and resurrection is more than a historical event—it carries deep spiritual significance for each of us.

Everything Jesus suffered—every pain, every shame—was not in vain. It was for our benefit, credited to our account. When we read Matthew 27, we see that at His resurrection, people in Jerusalem witnessed their loved ones rise from the dead with Him. His resurrection brought life—not just to Himself, but to all who believe in Him.

Jesus led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. His sacrifice wasn’t just for a select few, but for all of humanity. He died, descended into hell, and rose again, bringing us the hope of eternal life. These aren’t just past events; they are powerful truths still working in our lives today.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” It doesn't matter your background—your race, gender, or religion. The promise is for everyone who believes. The resurrection experience is for everyone.

This resurrection experience has made eternal life and victory available to us. Even now, Jesus is alive, interceding for us at the right hand of the Father, ensuring that everything He went through is working for our good. As painful and shameful all that He experienced was,up to His crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension was, it was all for us. Possibilities and power flows into our lives when we understand the purpose of all these.

I pray, in the name of Jesus, that His sacrifice will not be in vain in your life. And may you walk in the fullness of what He has done for you.

The Resurrection Experience 2

Welcome to April!

We are discussing The Resurrection Experience and I pray that every aspect of your life—your family, health, business, purpose, and education—will be filled with God’s light in Jesus' Name.

As you receive God’s Word, may the same life of Jesus that the devil could not suppress flow through you, bringing divine energy and joy into your life. May the resurrection power of Jesus become a practical reality for you, not just a theory in Jesus’ Name.

The idea of resurrection is not just a good bible story—it is real. Rom. 1:20 says God’s invisible qualities are clearly seen in creation. This is demonstrated in how a seed dies in the soil, only to sprout into a new life, bringing forth something greater – this is the principle of resurrection.

Jesus was not the first to rise from the dead, many resurrections occurred in the Old Testament, such as the widow of Zarephath’s son, the Shunammite woman’s son, and Lazarus. However, their resurrections were temporary—they all died again. Jesus is the only one that rose from the dead never to die again.

Romans 6:9-10 (NLT): “Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God.”

The resurrection story is simple yet powerful—Jesus died, was buried, and on the third day, He rose again. His victory over death and sin is eternal. By resurrecting, He broke the power of sin and death forever and now reigns with full dominion.

Because of His resurrection, Jesus—the conqueror of sin and death can step into any situation in your life, bringing His resurrection power to restore and transform. My prayer is that as we study this, light will fill your heart, and you will begin to live in the reality of His resurrection.

You Have It, Use It - 8

Salvation is an asset to every life and a divine setup for victory. You may have challenges as a believer but with better understanding what God has given us in Christ, we walk in greater levels of freedom and dominion. Proverbs 11:9 affirms, “Through knowledge shall the just be delivered.”

God has already provided everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). His Word, Spirit, name, and blood empower us to live as kings and priests, not as slaves. “Whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4). However, faith requires action. The more we put to use the things God has given us, the greater our victories.

At the heart of it all is Jesus Himself—God's greatest gift to man. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Salvation is more than rejoicing; it’s about fully embracing what Christ has secured for us.

Romans 8:32 (TPT), “God proved His love by giving us His greatest treasure, the gift of His Son and since He freely offered Him up, He won’t withhold anything else He has to give.”

If God has given us Jesus, He has given us everything else. Imagine receiving a new car but being denied the jack—it wouldn’t make sense! If God can give us Jesus Christ, His beloved Son, can you imagine anything else He'll possibly want to withhold from us? There's nothing!

And since there's nothing He's withheld from us, that means all He's given us, He wants us to use actively and intelligently for His glory and our fulfilment.

May you grow in the knowledge of God’s gifts, be armed with wisdom, and actively walk in the honor, dignity, and glory He has prepared for you in Jesus' Name.

Sunday 30th March

You Have It, Use It. 7

2 Cor. 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here!” This transformation means our lives should reflect a new attitude—what the Bible calls the fruit of the Spirit.

The early believers in Acts 11 were recognized as Christians because of their Christ like character. Their love, kindness, and patience set them apart. Likewise, God gives us the ability to develop Christ-like traits, not by our strength, but through the Holy Spirit.

2Pe 1:5-7 CEV Do your best to improve your faith. You can do this by adding goodness, understanding, 6 self-controls, patience, devotion to God, 7 concern for others, and love.

Faith alone isn’t enough; it must be accompanied by actions that reflect Christ’s nature. Paul reinforces this in 1 Corinthians 13: “You can have faith and give to the poor, but without love, it means nothing.” Faith should be accompanied by acts of goodness, kindness, and love—this is what makes our lives beautiful.

A good example of a person of Christ like character is Tabitha (Dorcas), a woman of faith known for her kindness. When she died, people pleaded with Peter to raise he back to life because of her acts of kindness. They showed him the beautiful things she had done for them when she was alive. Her character made an impact. Similarly, Paul instructed Timothy to ensure that widows receiving help were known for their good works—raising families well, showing hospitality, and comforting others.

As believers, spiritual gifts and biblical knowledge are valuable, but character is essential. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples—when you love one another.”

Jesus is challenging us here to let the world see and know us for our good and loving attitude towards one another.

You Have It, Use It. 6

As believers, God has given us everything we need to live in victory and dominion, bringing glory to His name. However, no matter how powerful His gifts and promises are, they only manifest when we use them.

In Christ, we have been given the gifts of the Spirit but how do we put this gift to work? When we receive salvation and are filled with the Holy Spirit, He imparts supernatural gifts such as the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, and the working of miracles.

It’s good to know about these gifts, but knowledge alone is not enough. Until you recognize that the Holy Spirit within you has already equipped you and you actually begin using these gifts, there will be no manifestation. They become evident only when you exercise your faith.

1Co 12:6-7 TPT, The same God distributes different kinds of miracles that accomplish different results through each believer’s gift and ministry as he energizes and activates them. 7 Each believer is given continuous revelation by the Holy Spirit to benefit not just himself but all.

This means the gifts you receive are not just for you—they are meant to bless and serve others. How do you do that? By using them.

You may ask, Are these gifts really in me? The only way to find out is to step out in faith and use them. Yes, mistakes will be made, but growth comes through practice. The more you trust God and use these gifts, the stronger and more effective they will become.

The gifts of the Spirit are already within you, but they require faith and consistent action to reach their full potential. As you begin to use them, may the Holy Spirit flow through you mightily in Jesus’ Name.
