Although the Yogis emphasize the fact that we have to take care of our bodies, of our mind and control our emotions. They realize we are not those things.
The Supreme Intelligence of the Universe— the Absolute— as the Yogis call it, has manifested the being we call human, which is the highest manifestation on this planet. We are a wonderfully organized being. Built of a physical, mental and spiritual composition.
The next time you find yourself identifying with your body, mind, emotions, or personality, take a step back and remind yourself that they are simply tools for your expression. You are something much deeper than any of these things, and detaching yourself from them can help you experience a sense of peace, stillness, strength and freedom within yourself.

Approximately one-tenth of your body weight is made up of blood, which is distributed in different parts of the body. Of this quantity, a quarter is allocated to the heart, lungs, major arteries, and veins, another quarter to the liver, and a quarter to the muscles. The remaining quarter is divided among the other organs and tissues. Additionally, the brain uses roughly one-fifth of the total amount of blood in your body.
The blood is responsible for nourishing and vitalizing all parts of the body. Insufficient quality of the blood or inadequate circulation can lead to impaired nutrition in some areas, which may result in disease.
The Yogis encourage us to remember the amazing circulatory system because the quality and quantity of blood are influenced by the food you eat and the way you eat it. By selecting and eating the right kind of food as nature intended, you can have better blood quality. And if you consistently eat junk food, the quality of your blood will be lower.

In a recent episode of the Rich Roll podcast, Rich and Rainn Wilson, the actor best known for his portrayal of Dwight Schrute in “The Office,” discussed a profound idea for the betterment of humanity. In his new book 'Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution', Wilson discusses one of the pillars of spirituality, which is having a positive outlook on the world and not having a pessimistic view. According to Wilson, if we have a negative mindset and think cynically, we will not be able to come up with solutions to improve our society.
There is a lot of negative messaging out there, and it can be easy to fall into cynical views of the world. However, we have to fight against this negative messaging and make a conscious effort to elevate humankind's consciousness. When we do so, we will be able to work together to solve the problems facing our planet and make it a better place for everyone.

The solution to most of humankind’s problems is not always a straightforward one. It requires a shift in perspective, a change in consciousness, and an elevation in thought. I believe that if we were to trace back on each of the current problems and tragedies in modern society, if we where to ask ‘why?’ enough times, we would arrive to the same conclusion: all problems stem from a lower level of consciousness, they are symptoms of the current average mindset of the human race.
Climate change, wars, shootings, racism, inequality, terrorism, corruption, animal cruelty, murders, etc. are all symptoms of a lower collective consciousness. People may engage in harmful behavior because they have a lower level of awareness, they do not see the connection between every human, or the interconnectedness of all beings.

Believing in something is a personal decision. We are shaped by the beliefs of our parents, our friends, media, institutions, etc. The human race is like a melting pot of ideas and inclinations. Each of us is unique. Don’t be that person who dislikes or dismisses people that don’t practice your same religion. Don’t be the intellectual one who makes fun of religious people. Don’t judge or condemn people just because they support the left or the right wing of politics. Everyone is doing their best based on the circumstances and experiences of their life.
The Yogi philosophy is a great example of this inclusive approach to life. It considers all living beings as part of the same cosmic consciousness and recognizes the interconnectedness of all things. According to this philosophy, any belief system that excludes a certain group of people is flawed.

A child needs no complex explanations on the value and necessity of sleep— they just sleep, that’s all. However, we adults have developed bad habits when it comes to sleep and waking up. We waste time on social activities that should be used for sleep, and we sleep during the hours when our bodies could absorb vitality and strength. We waste time at both ends of the sleep cycle and then wonder why we grow old and tired at middle age.
During sleep, the body undergoes repair work that is critical to our overall health. It is essential to give our bodies plenty of time to do that. Generally speaking, adults need about 8 hours of sleep each day. The best sleep is that taken between the hours of sunset and midnight, and the best time for outdoor activities and the absorbing of vitality are the first few hours after sunrise.

The power of facial expressions and body language cannot be underestimated. As demonstrated by the story of Nicole Kidman and the Yogi teachings, our bodies and minds are intricately connected. Making deliberate facial expressions and using gestures can evoke specific emotions and convey messages to others, even when language barriers exist.
As we navigate through our daily lives, let us remember the importance of body language and utilize it to our advantage. Whether it's to express our emotions, connect with others, or convey a message, our gestures and expressions can make a significant impact. So, let's practice conscious body language and harness its power to enhance our lives and relationships.

Breathing is at the center of our existence. All other functions of the body depend on it. You may survive some time without eating; a shorter time without drinking; but without breathing, your life may be measured by a few minutes.
Not only are we dependent upon breath for life, but we are largely dependent upon correct habits of breathing for continued vitality and freedom from disease. An intelligent control of our breathing power will lengthen our days on earth by giving us increased energy and vitality. And, on the other hand, unintelligent and careless breathing will tend to shorten our days, by decreasing our vitality and making us susceptible to disease.
The Yogis teach that our physical health depends very materially upon correct breathing. And in addition to the physical benefit obtained from correct habits of breathing, our mental power, happiness, self-control, clarity, morals, and even our spiritual growth may be increased by an understanding of the "Science of Breath."
