  • Way Too Villainiously
After watching Incredibles 2 with his kids, Chris riffs on a storytelling pattern he keeps noticing in kids' movies and shows: a trusted ally is revealed late in the story to be the villain, with little to no earlier hint. He wonders whether that trope subtly teaches kids that even good people shouldn't be trusted, and compares it to Thor: Ragnarok and The Handmaid's Tale, where the audience generally knows who's good and bad much earlier — asking which approach makes for healthier storytelling for kids.
He also mentions the "Way Too Seriously" podcast, which takes a deep, comedic dive into kids' movies, and the revived "Show Me Your Mic" podcasting show he co-hosts with Kyle, recorded live on the Good Stuff Twitch channel.

    • This is a Test of the Goodstuff Broadcasting System
A short technical-test episode, published to confirm some backend changes to the Good Stuff podcast network were working correctly. Along the way, Chris mentions that Apple's WWDC keynote didn't include a new MacBook Pro (to his disappointment), introduces a new hockey podcast on the network called Icebreakers, and previews his World Cup 2018 viewing plans — cheering for Mexico, then Argentina/Messi, then England, in that order of elimination.

      • A Review of Our U2 Experience in Montreal
Chris and his wife Sue debrief on seeing U2 live at the Bell Centre in Montreal on the Experience + Innocence tour, plus the pre-show sets by U2 tribute acts December (from Scotland) and Acrobat. They talk through standout songs — "One," "Staring at the Sun," and "Love Is Bigger Than Anything in Its Way" — the show's staging and visual storytelling, the growing number of phones blocking views at concerts, and the deliberately quiet, reflective way the show ended rather than with a big anthemic closer.

        • Preshowing December, Acrobat, and U2
Recorded ahead of the Montreal U2 shows, this is a conversation with Chris's wife Sue about what to expect from the night's pre-show acts, December and Acrobat. Sue talks candidly about not considering herself a "hardcore" U2 fan despite genuinely loving the band, the social anxiety of meeting fellow fans she doesn't know well, and her honest (and low-pressure) expectations heading into the shows.

          • Discussing the Digital Divide
Another conversation with Sue, recorded in Montreal, about the divide between online friendships and in-person ("meat space") relationships. Chris talks openly about why he's historically felt hesitant to bring up his podcasting and online fan communities with people outside that world, and the two discuss how attitudes toward hobbies, self-promotion, and internet friendships differ across generations and family culture.

            • Podcast Editing and Consulting Work Is My Meat and Potatoes
Chris explains that podcast editing and production consulting now make up about half his business at Lemon Productions, and that he'd like to grow it further. He offers hourly consulting sessions — covering audio quality, content, and general production feedback — bookable through a link in the show notes, and explains how listeners with Amazon Prime can support the Good Stuff Twitch channel for free by gifting their monthly Prime subscription credit.

              • Moving from Todoist to TickTick
Chris explains why he switched his to-do list app from Todoist to TickTick after about two years: mostly the same features but cheaper. He also highlights a few things he prefers about TickTick — a calendar view for dragging and rescheduling recurring tasks, "repeat X time after completion" reminders (handy for things like changing a furnace filter), a built-in Pomodoro timer, and support for standard Mac keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+N, Cmd+F) that Todoist didn't use.
Mentioned in this episode: Todoist and TickTick (to-do list apps).

                • Quitting Achievement Unlocked and Fortnite
After missing a couple of scheduled episodes, Chris talks about pushing through the "you broke your streak, why bother" mental spiral and recording anyway. Most of the episode is a rundown of Fortnite for parents unfamiliar with it: its origins as a free, multi-platform response to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), its battle-royale format, and how it took over from Minecraft as the game consuming his son's (and many kids') attention — including the social side of playing and voice-chatting with friends.
Mentioned in this episode: Fortnite, PUBG, and Minecraft (video games).

                  • Tax Time So Let's Talk TV
Recorded on Canadian tax filing day, Chris runs through what he and his family have been watching lately: Survivor, the second season of Westworld, This Is Us, David Letterman's Netflix interview show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" (that month featuring Jay-Z), and the documentary series Wild Wild Country about the Rajneeshpuram community — including a mention of a Verge article on what the documentary leaves unexplained about cult leaders. He also plans a second viewing of Black Panther ahead of Avengers: Infinity War.
Mentioned in this episode: Survivor, Westworld, This Is Us, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction (Netflix), Wild Wild Country (Netflix), Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War.
