Mr Mike returns with a fresh selection of prominent tech, progressive and acid sounds. This week, some new releases from big names such as King Unique, Dirty South, Mark Kight and Adam Beyer – along with a new remix by Gui Boratto. Where available, the tracklist contains links to buy the tracks you hear in this show.
01. King Unique – Feniksas [BUY]
02. Dirty South & Mark Knight – Stopover [BUY]
05. Russ Gabriel – Woon
Hottest New Tune
Im quite suprised this tune hasn’t seen an official re-release for 14 years, it looks like it could be quite big and is already hitting dancefloors around the world. Im not usually a big fan of re-releases of classic tunes, unless they are done well. Luckily this one is. Arguably it sounds similar to his many other releases, but you can’t go wrong with a successful producer like Gui Boratto.
For No Reason…
Released in 1996, it still resonates for a lot of people – a groundbreaking track that took high-end acid bleeps onto mainstream dancefloors.
The Prominent Mix
The Official Dancecast will return to dirtyradio in early April 2010 as part of our new regular monthly schedule.
