Daniel Sprong started the Red Wings off on the right foot, scrambling everywhere on the ice helping Detroit to have a dominating 1st period. He was eventually awarded with a goal on a clean feed from Simon Edvinsson who had his most well rounded game yet. Robby Fabbri gave the team a fighting chance late, with 2 quick goals to bring Detroit within one. But it wasn't enough as Washington controlled the bulk of the game, icing most of their best players against Detroit's 'B' team. #lgrw
