Danielle Orchard is a painter based out of Brooklyn, NY. Danielle received her BFA from Indiana University in 2009 and her MFA from Hunter College in 2013. She’s shown at galleries such as Monya Rowe in Florida, Thierry Goldberg, Taymour Grahne, Mulherin and Judith Charles in New York, Kers Gallery in Amsterdam amongst many others.
She attended Yaddo in 2015 and was a MFA Fellowship recipient from the Dedalus Foundation in 20013. She also has an upcoming four person exhibit at D.C. Moore Gallery in Chelsea.
Brian met up with Danielle at her studio in Brooklyn and we talked about her large family, emo music, Picasso and algorithms.
