I birthed our baby in 2,5 hours.

I didn’t intend to have a free birth, it just kind of unfolded that way. And honestly, up until the first contraction, I can’t say I really felt necessarily courageous or super ready. 

But somehow the readiness was there. 

A readiness from my body; from my instinctual self. All I needed in that moment was to be left alone, uninterrupted, untouched, to move with the force of birth guided completely by my inner knowing. 

Our baby boy Raiden Onyx was born on the 25th of April in 2,5 hours. 

This experience changed me forever. 

I am in complete awe of everything this journey has taught me. From conscious conception, to my wild pregnancy and sovereign birth.

Since 2010 plant medicine has been part of my life in a very intimate way. This is actually the first time I publicly speak about specific experiences during ceremonies. 

The only way that makes sense to me, is to share through story-telling. Not as an expert on the subject. Not as a way to teach you what you should or should not do. But really just as it has been my experience during this pregnancy.

I recorded this right in the final moments of my pregnancy. Simply flowing with whatever information wanted to be shared in the present moment.

Now that I'm approaching birth for the second time, I've decided to share with you my deep contemplations of how this pregnancy has been preparing me. 

In an unexpected way I've needed to integrate many details of my first birth. Eventhough my daughter was born at home and came out perfectly, I've needed to come to terms with the many ways my primal needs weren't accommodated. 

For this pregnancy I chose a "wild pregnancy" - no doctors, no tests, just me and my instinctual guidance. It has blown my mind to see how profound and precise this journey has been in comparison to my first. 

It is simply because there was no external influence messing with the primal voice of the mother; the primal voice of the dark feminine.

What if insecurity as well as confidence can both be ways in which you sabotage your path of love?

In this delicious conversation with Sam, we talk about our love journey's, and what we are now able to see that wasn't obvious before we met our soulmates.

Interestingly enough we both met our men around the same time, and got pregnant around the same time!

I love and respect Sam for who she is - her intelligence, her wisdom, her embodiment as a sister, woman, partner and mother. We're extremely aligned, and in so many ways so opposite! Which is what makes our connection so interesting and complementary.

Laura found true love after doing DARE TO LOVE course with me in 2020. Her journey is a very unique one as her blockage in the heart manifested as breast cancer. She discovered the cancer while doing the course.

The support of the group as well as the deep inner work she was doing on her patterns in love and intimacy helped her realize the deeper meaning of the cancer and therefore pushed her even deeper into the incredible healing journey she was on.
