Today, Patrick finally has some good news for us, with details on the discovery of 6-year-old Paislee Shultis who was found alive after being missing for 2.5 years.

Welcome back (or for the first time) to Dark and Devious!!  We are very excited to embark on our second year of providing quality, true crime stories. Our first case back is a big one; the story of Aaron Hernandez and the murder of Odin Lloyd. Aaron Hernandez seemed to have it all, a lucrative football career, a beautiful fiancee, a baby girl, and a million plus dollar house in a well-to-do neighborhood, but under the surface, Hernandez was dealing with a hidden violent streak. Brain trauma and abuse added fuel to the fire and the result spelled tragedy for his family and so many more around him.

Aileen Wuornos is said to be one of America’s first female serial killers not in a caregiving facility. Her murders reflected an intense rage and violence that was not associated with women, but it was only targeted at men whom she deemed to be evil. She killed at least 7 men between 1989 and 1990, claiming all were acts of self defense.  But were all the murders truly an act of self defense?  Or was there something more sinister behind her motives?
