Ellen is talking to her sister on a payphone in Claremont. Both victims are at or near Leo's Market. Is the killer using Leo's to stalk his next victim?

Part 2 of the investigation into the Connecticut River Valley Killer. In 1981, Betsy Critchley is abducted while hitchhiking in Massachusetts. Her body is found a few weeks later in the woods of Unity, New Hampshire. But Betsy might have grabbed a piece of evidence that will break her case wide open.

But Jane later finds out she is the only survivor of a serial killer who prowled the Connecticut River Valley in the 1980s and killed at least 8 women before her.
