🎨 About Our Set:The set where Darklivity is filmed is a recreation of Kimbyr's bedroom from the 90s when her grandmother Fran introduced her to true crime for the first time while watching the OJ Simpson trial. Sadly Fran passed away in February 2023; the set is a tribute to her and a "thank you" for the curiosity she instilled in Kimbyr as a child. Thanks for being here. We hope you stay.

This is PART TWO of a TWO-PART series on a case that happened out in Florida. In August 1992, mother Rita Bado and her 20‑year‑old daughter Lisa Bado vanished from their Lantana, Florida apartment just as Hurricane Andrew loomed on the horizon.

What began as a quiet move for a fresh start turned into one of Palm Beach County’s most shocking unsolved mysteries, overshadowed by a devastating storm and years of unanswered questions. Decades later, advances in forensic science reopened the investigation and finally brought the case back into the spotlight.

This is PART TWO of a two-part series. On the surface, Lynn Steller and Ronnie King were just living ordinary lives in a quiet community. No flashing warning signs. No obvious danger. Just routines, relationships, and a sense of normalcy that made what came next almost impossible to process. When violence shattered that normal life, investigators were left piecing together a timeline filled with unanswered questions, fractured relationships, and details that didn’t immediately make sense. As the case unfolded, what initially seemed straightforward quickly grew complicated—revealing a story layered with secrets, missed red flags, and decisions that would ultimately change everything.

This is the true crime story of Lynn Steller and Ronnie King—a case that forces you to ask how well we really know the people closest to us, and how a single moment can expose the darkest sides of human behavior.
