Darrell Brooks, the man whose antics went viral during his trial for killing six people during a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, appeared in front of a judge Monday for the start of an unrelated assault case. But unlike his court hearings in 2022, Brooks retained an attorney, who helped negotiate a plea deal on the domestic violence and witness intimidation charges.
