Following weeks of student protests across college campuses nationwide, concerns have been shared regarding antisemitism  on university campuses.  In earlier remarks, Biden addressed that students have a right to attend college safely, and that discrimination of any kind is un-American. Utah Rabbi Avremi Zippel gives his input on the U's protests, saying the event could have easily led to further violence by outside agitators, and shares his gratitude on the swift handling of the situation.

Gubernatorial hopeful Phil Lyman is going to court to challenge a ruling by an independent adviser to the state elections office after his running mate was declared ineligible due to state residency requirements for executive branch officials. Lyman, a Republican state representative from Blanding, announced Layne Bangerter as his running mate, who was then pronounced ineligible for the office of lieutenant governor because he has not lived in the state for five years prior to the election. Phil Lyman share his input.

Live from the capitol as narcotics officer Trenten Halladay is placed on Utah's fallen officer memorial wall. D2 respond to breaking news, airing Pres. As the ceremony to honor fallen officer Trent Halladay proceeds, D2 spend time catching up with Rich Ferguson, Draper City Police Chief. Debbie and Ferguson speak about their memories of Trent, and what risks officers face in the field, such as booby-trapped meth labs, and chemical infections. Ferguson shares what forces have learned in the years since.

Officer Trenton Halladay served in law enforcement for a decade at the Provo Police Department. For most of his career, Halladay worked on a task force responsible for busting countless meth labs that plagued Utah County in the late '90s and early 2000s. Halladay was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, and died shortly after. His death was recently classified as a death in the line of duty. Debbie shares her experience as an investigative reporter covering the narcotics busts. Lisa Halladay, widow of the fallen officer, shares his story, Lt. Pat Evens of the Draper City Police speaks with D2 about the importance of the days memorial service.

After an earlier announcement from Pres. Biden regarding the college campus protests over the war in Gaza, Dave and Debbie break down his statement. Today , NARCOTICS Officer Trenton Halladay will be placed on Utah's fallen officer memorial wall -- he died in 2006 of liver cancer at 37.
