On Sunday Senators released a $118 billion package that pairs border enforcement policy with wartime aid for Ukraine, Israel and other U.S. allies. House Republicans are voicing strong opposition to the Senate bipartisan bill to overhaul the immigration system. However it seems there is conflict within the party with support as Sen. Ogden High School has announced a new policy that will ban phones in classrooms. Students can keep their phones in their backpack but would have a 3 strike policy if they are caught with them. Jer Bates with the Ogden School District joins the show. Debbie and Taylor take listener calls.

Lawmakers wanted to make teachers' pay their dues by hand - by quill and rock - chiseling the amount and delivering it -- they've backed off of that ... but not completely from doing more to keep their thumb on the state's largest teacher's union.
