Former Republican candidate for President Herman Cain has died of COVID-19. His death was announced on his website by the website's editor Dan Calabrese. Two weeks ahead of his diagnosis, he attended a Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was seen not wearing a mask.

President Trump called out mail-in voting Thursday morning, and even floated the idea of delaying the election over his concerns. There is no evidence that mail-in voting has led to any significant voter fraud--and delaying the election would be extremely difficult. Sherrie Swensen, Salt Lake County Clerk, joins us to tamp down claims of voter fraud through mail-in voting.

Across the country, 11% of Americans are out of work, though things are much brighter in Utah with 5% out of work. We heard from lots of our listeners that are faced with the reality of having to find a new job or a totally new career. Some complained that even when trying to go through Utah's job-seeker website, they appeared to be shut out -- perhaps because their resume didn't mesh with the site's algorithm. Yesterday afternoon, a 2-year-old girl was killed in a car crash while being pushed in a stroller by her mother. Her twin sister and mother are both in the hospital in critical condition. Neighbors reportedly describe the road as a traffic problem spot. We'll ask UPD's Sgt. Melody Gray for an update on the condition of the mom and daughter, then learn more about how to get drivers to slow down on that road.
