  • Before You Invest in Bitcoin, WATCH THIS!!!

I haven’t heard a good framework on how to evaluate Bitcoin as an investment, so in this video I’ll attempt to share my thoughts on how one can evaluate Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as an investment.
There’s a lot of hype and fear around cryptocurrency, and I try to examine both the bull and bear cases.
The two angles I use are the following:
    1. Value by popularity
    2. Value by dividend of future capital returned (i.e, intrinsic value).
Bitcoin as a “store of value” is largely a value by popularity proposition. And a value by popularity carries inherent risks especially if Bitcoin whales decide to transfer their assets away from Bitcoin into another crypto coin or elsewhere.
However, cryptocurrencies if they can capture a significant portion of increasing digital transactions could have intrinsic value if they can capture value in even a small % of all transitions.

From Tesla’s press release for Q4 2019 deliveries:
    https://ir.tesla.com/news-releases/news-release-details/tesla-q4-2019-vehicle-production-deliveries
“From the fourth quarter, we achieved record production of almost 105,000 vehicles and record deliveries of approximately 112,000 vehicles. In 2019, we delivered approximately 367,500 vehicles, 50% more than the previous year and in line with our full year guidance.
We continue to focus on expanding production in both the US as well as our newly launched facility in Shanghai. Despite breaking ground at Gigafactory Shanghai less than 12 months ago, we have already produced just under 1,000 customer salable cars and have begun deliveries. We have also demonstrated production run-rate capability of greater than 3,000 units per week, excluding local battery pack production which began in late December.”

  • Why the Shorts Hate Tesla (TSLA)
    Follow me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/heydave7
    Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heydave7
Tesla has historically been one of the most shorted stocks on the stock market.
In this video, I go over my take on how I see the infatuation(?) that shorts have with Tesla.
With some much FUD and disinformation regarding investing and Tesla, I think it’s important to have an objective look at why the shorts hate Tesla.
    1) Shorts think auto OEMs will be hard to disrupt
Software Eats the World article by Marc Andreesen:
    https://a16z.com/2011/08/20/why-software-is-eating-the-world/
    2) Shorts hate assumptions and the unknown
    3) Shorts don’t like Elon
    4) Shorts discount the adoption Tesla is having
    5) Shorts see TSLA as a bubble and TSLA investors as gullible
    6) Shorts amplify their negativity toward TSLA
Investing can be high stakes and can bring out our shortcomings, such as emotions, impatience and bias.
Objectivity let’s us see through all this and look at the larger trends and what’s really going on.
