  • Softy and Dick H1 - Pete Carroll's Monday press conference / Gamut of emotions / Fact or Fiction: Rams / Opponent Audio Recap
Dick and Dave are at the Emerald Queen Casino, hanging out before the Monday Night game between the Packers and Lions. We start the show off by hearing from Pete Carroll who speaks to the press about yesterday's win. Probably the biggest takeaway is that Will Dissly is likely out for the rest of the season, meaning he will have missed 22 of his first 32 games in the NFL. He was putting up elite numbers this year, and his presence will be missed. That game ran the gamut of emotions, with a lot of stress and frustration as the defense allowed Baker Mayfield to look like Baker Mayfield, but as the game went on, the tables began to turn. Once again Russell Wilson proves why he is worth $35 million a year. There's some competition, but he's got to be in the MVP conversation. The Rams have lost three in a row, but the streak will end there. Softy says LA -3 is the pick on Fact or Fiction. Ah, there's nothing more satisfying than listening to the other team's announcers call a Seahawk victory. It's the Opponent Audio Recap, this time, with the Cleveland Browns Radio Network.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - MVP: The case for Russell Wilson / Joel Klatt talks Huskies and more / Textimonials / Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down
Looking at the top four MVP contenders in the NFL, which player, if removed from their team, is having the biggest impact? Ultimately, that's what the "most valuable" player is, the player that brings the most value to his team. One could argue that without Russell Wilson, the Seahawks would be 1-5... maybe even 0-6. Every game except the Cardinals game has been incredibly close. The Hawks are finding ways to win games, even when they give up 25 or more points; something they previously struggled to do. A lot of that credit goes to Wilson. The Dawgs got a much-needed win against the Wildcats on Saturday, but it didn't start off very well. What did they find that allowed them to blow the game open in the second half. We discuss that, and the upcoming matchup with Oregon with Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt. Textimonials react to everything we've discussed on the show thus far at 49451. On Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, premature Husky texts, support for Daniel Hudson, O'Dea beats Eastside Catholic, and unwavering support for Jason Garrett.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Seahawk O-line: DEFCON 1 / What's wrong with the Husky offense? / Fact or Fiction: ASU / Daryl Ruiter talks Browns
The Seahawks won't have Brown, Fluker, or Pocic on the offensive line this Sunday when they take on Cleveland. This... could be a problem. Luckily, if there's any quarterback that can perform under pressure, it's Russell Wilson. When the season started, we thought we had an embarrassment of riches on the Washington offensive line. Now, the whole thing seems to be broken. So what's the problem? We take your calls on the Dawgs as they hopefully get back on track against Arizona tomorrow. Also in the desert, also needing a win, the Cougars are taking on the Sun Devils. Softy says the win won't come for Washington State. Sun Devils -1 is the Fact or Fiction pick. Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland talks about the Hawks' next opponent, the Browns. How will the Hawks match up against a Browns team desperate to bounce back after a Monday Night bloodbath.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Reason for Seahawk optimism / Fun with Audio - Pregame speech and postgame speech / Textimonials
Injuries to the offensive line may be concerning, but if there's ever a team and a quarterback that can play under this kind of pressure, it's Russell Wilson with the Seahawks. Jamarco Jones also showed more promise than expected at guard. Maybe things will be fine. Meanwhile, it's do or die for Washington. If they lose to Arizona, there's nothing left to play for. A win over Oregon would be nice, but the Pac-12 North would be out of our grasp, and Washington has higher aspirations than just beating Oregon. On Fun with Audio, a 10-year-old gives an awesome pregame pep talk, the Cardinals manager gave an awesome postgame speech, and Julian Edelman saw too much of Bill Belichick. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Daniel Hudson and the baseball vs. baby debate / Bob Rondeau on the Huskies / Dixon Percentage Index
Washington Nationals closer Daniel Hudson is missing the first game of the NLCS because his wife gave birth earlier this morning, and some fans feel that his priorities are out-of-whack. It seems like there probably would have still been enough time for him to make the game following the birth, but maybe there were other circumstances. So why have a kid in October if you think you'll make the playoffs? Well, he started the season in Toronto. Bob Rondeau joins us to help make sense of last weekend's loss to Stanford, plus a look ahead to Arizona as the team tries to get things right. Dixon predicts a Seahawk victory in Cleveland on Sunday. He's 5-0 in his DPI predictions so far this season.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Unleash the beast / Jimmy Lake and Justin Britt / Fact or Fiction / Lee Sterling's picks
Looking at the stats, Baker Mayfield is not anywhere close to being a good quarterback is under pressure. The Seahawks can stop him easily if they get in his face the entire game. Unleash the beast and get the win. On Dick and Dave in the Locker Room, interviews with Husky defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake, and Seahawk center Justin Britt. Dick takes Texas -10.5 on Fact or Fiction. Lee Sterling of Paramount Sports makes his picks for this weekend's NCAA and NFL games.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Dick Fain at the VMAC / Gregg Bell talks Seahawks / How nervous are you? / Fact or Fiction: A&M +16.5 / Jacob Eason
Dick Fain is flying solo today down at the VMAC as Softy is off to deal with the passing of his dog. Joining us to start the show, The News Tribune's Gregg Bell talking all things Seahawks. This is one of those setups that looks great on paper, but always goes wrong; the Browns are coming off a terrible beating by the 49ers, and the Seahawks are coming off a huge win. How worried are you about the Cleveland game? The Huskies lost when they shouldn't have, but they've been here before. How confident are you that they'll run the table? Dick says take A&M +16.5 over an Alabama team that hasn't been tested. The Tide will win, but it won't be a blowout. Dick checks in with Jacob Eason after the Stanford loss.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Corey Brock's final thoughts on the M's season / Petros Papadakis on the Pac-12 / Textimonials
It's been a couple of weeks now since the Mariners ended their uninteresting season. It might not have been great baseball, but we expected as much, and were told to expect as much from this organization. The future though, looks brighter. Corey Brock of The Athletic reflects on the 2019 Mariners season; what we've learned about the veterans on this team, and more importantly, what we're seeing in the prospects working their way up to the big league club. Petros Papadakis discusses the Husky loss on the Farm, and what it means for the conference, plus other Pac-12 storylines, and how LA fans are reacting to the Rams loss to the Hawks. Textimonials react to the Petros conversation, and to everything we've touched on in the first two hours of the show.

Rick Neuheisel joins us each and every Wednesday at 5pm to discuss the Dawgs and more. On the drops by the receivers, is Eason throwing too hard? There might be some precedent for this. Plus thoughts on this weekend's to 25 matchups, and a pick. Kevin Harlan discusses the takeaways for the Seahawks form the Browns and 49ers on Monday, plus a status report on the NFC West. Are things what we thought they were. Dick catches up with Shaq Griffin in the locker room. Ryan Gustafson, president of the Seattle Dragons discusses the latest on the XFL team's development as the league gets ready to launch; tickets are now on sale, the draft is coming next week, and efforts to engage a new fanbase are underway.
