  • Softy and Dick H1 - The pressure is on the Hawks / Elijah Molden and D. J. Fluker / Fact or Fiction / Here we are again
The pressure is on the Seahawks in tomorrow's home game against the Rams, at least if they want to win the division. They're probably going to need to at least go 1-1 to take the NFC West, and it's going to be a lot harder to win a game in Southern California than it will be here, but we all know how successful Pete Carroll has been in prime time games, and with the way teh Rams have been looking lately, it's not a difficult pick. Softy catches up with Elijah (not Eli) Molden and Dick talks with D.J. Fluker on Dick and Dave in the Locker Room. The Ravens are going to come out swinging, Softy says. Baltimore is the Fact or Fiction pick. It's been 18 years since this city has seen October baseball. We're right back to where we were in the early years of the franchise. Watching the Nationals and Brewers play last night is just a reminder of how much fun playoff baseball is, and how much this city would benefit if our team were good. Maybe in a couple of year's if Dipoto's plan works out.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Ring of Honor: Who's next? / Petros Papadakis: USC loses, Leach rants, players make money / Textimonials
Tomorrow, about a half an hour before the game, Paul Allen will be inducted into the Ring of Honor as member #12. We're still waiting for the day that Mike Holmgren is honored, but we're sure it's coming. We should be the next Ring of Honor inductee? Petros Papadakis discusses the Fox crews lightning pullback, USC's loss, Mike Leach's comments, Scott Wolf's shot at him, and more. Textimonials with thoughts on the next Ring of Honor member and more.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Rick Neuheisel on the Dawgs win, SB 206, Leach / Kevin Harlan on the NFL / Percy on the 2014 fight, Cliff responds
What does former college coach Rick Neuheisel think of Mike Leach going after his own players the way he did following last weekend's game? We ask him about it, plus his thoughts on the Dawgs, SB 206, and a story about Paul Allen. Could Mahomes be the first $60 million quarterback in a few years? What's up with Jared Goff and the Rams? Kevin Harlan discusses those NFL stories and more. Maybe we're focusing a little too much on the Mike Leach story. Percy Harvin opened up about the pre-Super Bowl skirmish between himself and Golden Tate to Bleecher Report earlier today. In case you missed it, Cliff responded with his memory of the incident.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Rams: Cracks in the foundation / Jon Wilner on the future of Pac-12's California teams / Textimonials
We're just two days away from our first look at the Rams against the Hawks this year, and despite their dominance over the last couple of years, some signs of change are starting to appear. Jared Goff is a puppet, and defenses are starting to figure him out. Where's Todd Gurley? He hasn't shown much going back to the playoffs last season. Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News joins us for his weekly look at the Pac-12. The Dawgs should take care of business ths weekend in what Jon is calling a "no excuses" game. We find out what people outside the Northwest are saying about Mike Leach's comments about his players, and what the future might hold for California teams in the Pac-12 following the new player compensation law in California. Could Stanford, USC, Cal, and UCLA find themselves on the outside soon? Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Walter Jones / Mike Florio on all things NFL / Weekly Weigh In / Brian Schmetzer talks Sounders
The Seahawks offense looked much improved last weekend, and the offensive line played a major role. With thoughts, Walter Jones joins us. Mike Florio gives his take on the Seahawks thus far. Are they contenders this year? Plus, a look around the NFC West; is there a chance Kyler Murray is playing baseball in a couple of years? It's our new segment, Weekly Weigh In, sponsored by 30/10 Weight Loss for Life. Let us know what topics you want us to weigh in on. Brian Schmetzer discusses the Sounders before the final regular season match of 2019. We know the Sounders will make the playoffs, but where will they be seeded?

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Seahawks: Pretenders or contenders? / Fact or Fiction: Auburn -3.5 / Opponent Audio Recap: Arizona
So the Seahawks bounced back after losing to the Saints last weekend, but the Cardinals aren't anybody. So, do we believe this team at 3-1 is legit, or are we just waiting for a collapse when they play top tier opponents? If they can take care of business Thursday night against the Rams, they'll make more fans believers. On Fact or Fiction, the team with probably the best resume in college football, Auburn, will take care of business this weekend, says Softy. The Seahawks won, which means we get to hear the highlights form the other team's perspective on the Opponent Audio Recap with Dave Pasch and Ron Wolfley on the call for the Cardinals Radio Network.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - California player compensation bill / Joel Klatt on the Pac-12 / Textimonials / Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down
Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill that will allow players in California to receive compensation for use of their likeness. In an industry with so much money coming in, it makes sense that athletes have an oportunity to profit from it in some way. Is this the right path to take? Paying players directlly is a messy road to attempt to go down. Joel Klatt of Fox Sports shares his opinion on the new bill, plus thoughts on this past weekend's games, Mike Leach's postgame comments about his own players, and more. Textimonials also react to Leach's "fat, dumb, happy, and entitled" comment. What did we like and what didn't we like form this past football weekend? We discuss on Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Sav'ell Smalls commits to Washington / Smalls himself talking about the decision / Scott Wolf of InsideUSC
Big news coming out of Montlake as top-ranked outside linebacker prospect Sav'ell Smalls has committed to Washington. Chris Petersen and company continue to bring four and five-star recruits to the school, including guys that are homegrown, and may have left the state to go elsewhere a few years ago. This is exactly what needs to be done to build a championship program. The man himself, Sav'ell Smalls joins the show to talk about his decision to commit to UW. What made him decide to stay home after taking the school off his list just a few months ago? The Dawgs have a huge matchup against the Trojans tomorrow. InsideUSC's Scott Wolf talks about the state of the program, and how the team will match up vs. the Dawgs. Softy says take Houston minus the points on Fact or Fiction.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Seattle says "Thank you" to Felix Hernandez / Fun with Audio: Catching babies ..Unlike Agholor / Textimonials
After fifteen incredible seasons with the Seattle Mariners, Felix Hernandez pitched what is likely to be his final game on the mound at T-Mobile Park in a Seattle uniform. Whatever expectations anyone had going into the event, it's hard to say it was anything but a perfect send-off. Okay, some run support might have been nice, but then it wouldn't have been a true Felix game. The deep connection Felix has had with M's fans since arriving here in 2005 is something we may never see replicated again. It was an emotional night for everyone who was a part of it. Fun With Audio lives on, now at it's new time of 4:20 every Friday, and speaking of Felix, we hear him talk about the experience that was last night's game, plus a man who saves lives by catching babies, "unlike (Nelson) Agholor", plus OJ Simpson rants about his fantasy team, Mike Francesa's listeners mock him for his new acting gig, and more. Textimonials weigh in on the most beloved Seattle athletes of all time following Felix's last game.
