October 25, 201925 Years of The Vinyl CafeIt's hard to believe but 2019 marks 25 years since the first episodes of the Vinyl Cafe went out on CBC Radio. Stuart McLean soon became of the country's biggest stars and biggest live attractions, touring in Canadian cities and towns, big and small. The shows introduced us to musicians, Stuart told stories about the towns he visited, and of course, we followed the lives and misadventures of Dave & Morley and their family... who never did get a last name. Two new collections of CDs are now available to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Vinyl Cafe. Volume 1 has those Dave and Morley stories, and Volume Two celebrates the communities where the show visited.
