Sometimes it seems like time is flying, and sometimes it's impossibly slow, and we can't wait to skip to the future. The technology could one day let us send a human into the future – if we managed to move close to the speed of light. There also may be a way of traveling to the past: Einstein himself proposed a theory of that. Scientists also observed that time got distorted depending on the speed we moved at. The faster we move, the more slowly time goes, so if we could reach the speed of light, time would stand still.
