Reflecting on the light of Christ revealed in the Epiphany, Fr. Tony Cutcher meditates on the Christian mission. He says: "We are called to be the light in a world that is living in shadow and darkness."

"The Mass is the perfect sacrifice of worship." Fr. Ambrose Dobrozsi reminds us of this while reflecting on that first worship of Christ by the Magi. He adds: "When we come and lay our lives on the altar with the bread and the wine, we also are transformed into the body of Christ as a perfect offering to the Father."

God so often seems invisible and unapproachable. Fr. Joseph Kindel reflects on this question on the Feast of the Epiphany. He says: "The God who dwells in unapproachable light has made Himself accessible to us so that we can come into His presence without being afraid and share mutual love."

On this solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, Fr. Tony Cutcher reflects: "We gather today to ask her intercession and to ask her to help us emulate her, that we may feel the love of God coursing through our veins just as she did when she bore our savior."

"When God looks upon us, His face is lighting up." So muses Fr. Joseph Kindel as he considers the way Mary's face must have lit up upon gazing at her child, Jesus.

On the Feast of the Holy Family, Fr. Ambrose Dobrozsi shares a beautiful reflection on familial self-gift. He says: "To give up what we want for the good of the other, for the salvation of our family members, we can truly be like the Holy Family."

In his final homily of 2019, Deacon Bob Gutendorf shares about angels. He says: "At every Mass, Heaven meets earth; the church is filled with the angels and the saints and our family members who died in God's grace, all adoring our Lord, present at this sacrifice and proclaiming Hosanna in the highest!"

In a moving reflection on Christmas Day, Fr. Ambrose Dobrozsi implores us: “Let the grace of Christmas reach down into every aspect of your lives. Allow it to inform every one of your decisions. Because Christ has totally re-made who you are on this day.”

In his Christmas Eve homily, Fr. Tony Cutcher beautifully meditates on the wonder of the God of the Universe taking on human flesh and on what that means for Christians. He says: “It is His Holy Spirit that we are called to put flesh on — not just during the Christmas season, but all year long.”
