Duke Basketball ends 2024 with a game against the Virginia Tech Hokies and Duke Football begins 2025 with the Gator Bowl against the Ole Miss Rebels. We preview both games on DBR Bites Episode 78.

Duke Basketball has a New Year’s Eve matchup with the Hokies, with Jaden Schutt returning to Cameron for the first time since he transferred to Blacksburg. He’s coming back as the Schutter we knew he could be and he’s likely coming with some extra motivation. Virginia Tech hasn’t played well this season, but they still have some guys to watch as Donald and Jason give you an in depth look at what they do on both sides of the ball.

After the break, we switch to football as Duke has a huge test against Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl on Thursday. Ole Miss is scary good, with most of their stars expected to play in the bowl game. We take you through what they do best and set the scene for what is a big test for the Duke program.
