We’re back this week with another fun trip report, featuring a Disney Magic sailing from Liverpool, England. Claire joins us this week to discuss her family’s 4 night Disney Magic at Sea sailing, this Summer. Claire and her family are no strangers to Disney Cruise Line, already having sailed on the Disney Dream in the Caribbean, and the Disney Wonder twice through Alaska. However, this was their first time sailing on the Disney Magic, and also sailing from their home country, England. We have a fun time hearing all about their experiences, as we touch on pre-arrival planning, embarkation, dining, on-board fun, a great perspective of the Edge (one of the teen’s kids club), character interactions, and her thoughts about Disney continuing these sailings in the future. Disney Cruise Line began sailing this week with the Disney Dream, from Port Canaveral. We’re excited to bring you a trip report from her first sailing, Aug 9, 2021. Scott and his family, who are big Disneyland fans from Southern California, travelled to Florida to experience their first Disney Cruise. He does an excellent job detailing the check in process, what it was like for he and his family to step on board the Dream for the first time, thoughts on their cabin, dining, onboard entertainment, the pool deck procedures, how his kids enjoyed the kids clubs, and of course all they experienced on Castaway Cay. Its been a long time coming, but Disney Cruise Line is once again sailing from the U.S.. So pack your suitcase, and grab your snorkel gear and suntan lotion, we’re headed out on a 4 day cruise aboard the Disney Dream!

With DCL still not sailing until Aug 9 in the U.S., many of our listeners headed for the Hawaiian Islands, and a stay at Aulani. Kristy and her family did just that, and she’s back again to help us out with a fun trip report, detailing their adventures on Oahu. They started off by staying near Waikiki, and exploring all around Honolulu and Oahu, before heading to Aulani for the last week to relax. We touch on driving to the North shore, hiking to Waimea Falls, when to hit Dole Plantation to avoid the lines, getting a surf lesson on Waikiki, and finish up with their amazing week at Aulani. So grab your sun tan lotion (reef friendly of course), and put on your rubber slippers, we’re off to explore all that Oahu and Aulani has to offer. Aloha!
