Good friend of the show, Ryan from Phoenix, joins us this week to discuss his family’s return to sailing with Disney Cruise Line. Ryan and his family moved a seven day sailing on the Fantasy, too back to back sailings on the Disney Wonder, as she began sailing again out of San Diego. We discuss how the boarding process worked between sailings, with their son who wasn’t vaccinated. We then turn to their experiences onboard the ship, dining, entertainment, thoughts about their state room, kids clubs, and finish talking about their snorkeling adventure in Cabo San Lucas. Steve and Ahnawake sit down near the Quiet Cove Adult Pool area to reflect on some of the things they had experienced during their 3 day cruise on the Disney Wonder. This was a 3 day Halloween on the High Seas sailing out of San Diego, on the Disney Wonder. We’ll have a little more extensive trip report out later this week. Good friend of the show, Lauren, joins us this week to discuss her and her husbands latest adventure to the beautiful country of Iceland. They were all set to sail on the Disney Magic to Scotland, Iceland, and Norway in 2021, but unfortunately their cruise was cancelled. So they did what all of us would do, they put a land vacation together to visit Iceland. Lauren does an excellent job stepping us through their planning process, how they got there, where they stayed, amazing food and ice cream they had along the way, and detailing all the amazing sites they were able to experience and see. Iceland is truly a bucket list destination for those who enjoy getting off the beaten path, and spending time in the outdoors. Cruise Cancelled? Don’t Sweat!!!! It’s time to pivot and head out on a land vacation to one of the worlds most remote and beautiful country’s, Iceland.
