Dead Red Herring Podcast - Episode 13

A new year has come and with it comes some thoughts about the future (and near past).

What do we look for in 2019? Is the AAA-developers going to crash? Will Captain Marvel be good or just cheese? Have Dragon Age IV already sealed its fate because of politics?

We do the shotgun blast to the ears again!

Dead Red Herring Podcast - Episode 12

We make a shotgun episode, meaning it's all over the place. To highlight some points, we take a look at some trailers like the new Captain Marvel trailer. There's some discussion on gaming news, among others that the new Dragon Age will be woke and that it probably will kill Bioware and a Ubisoft employee wanted to END PewDiePie. We say a few words about Youtube Rewind 2018 too. Magnus also bends over in spandex.

Dead Red Herring Podcast - Episode 11

Oh, how we love Star Wars and it seems we can't stop flogging that dead horse. But is there a future for the once so beloved franchise or has the Disney era crashed it just as hard as a TIE-fighter against an asteroid?

Youtuber Thor Skywalker made a video wherein he asked the question, "What would you do with the sequel trilogy from a business side of things?". Well, we decided that we wanted to do a deep dive into that question and the overall question of the future of Star Wars.

We also finally have an intro for the non-youtube stuff. It's made by Majksins, guitarist for Apostasy. Give them a listen if you like black metal!

Dead Red Herring Podcast - Episode 10

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for gaming companies, Fallout 76 and Battlefield 5 proves you wrong. Bethesda isn't making thing better either when dealing with their 200$ deluxe edition, failing to deliver on advertised (promised) goods or refunds for unsatisfied costumers.

It's the shit show of the year!

Dead Red Herring Podcast - Episode 5

There is a problem with western gaming and it's not the games. Calls for censorship of games containing adult themes or things deemed not "correct" is a major issue. This phenomena we like to call the Neo-puritanism. Other topics are the cancellation of Marvel-Netflix's Iron Fist, the purge of NPC-meme accounts and Fallout 76.
