During World War I, the German submarine UB-65 gained a chilling reputation among sailors as a vessel cursed by death. After a series of mysterious accidents, explosions, and crew fatalities, witnesses claimed to see the ghost of a dead officer haunting its deck. When the submarine finally sank in 1918 under unclear circumstances, many believed it was the ghost himself who had claimed his final vengeance.
