The Steady Personality is all about calm, cool, and collected. They like to be in the shadows instead of the spotlight.  They want a quiet life without being in the crowds that is a slow steady life. If you push a steady personality too much they can drag their feet and move at the sloths pace. the turtle in their mascot as in slow and steady wins the race.

Here is the lowdown. Just because you understand The Personality Code doesn't mean you will understand everyone. Knowing your boundaries is key. You don't have to accept everyone in your life, even if you know why they are doing it. 

It took me years to create the understanding I have now. Mostly from being confused by how people acted or responded to me. If you can figure out which one you are and how other personality types react to you. That is where the magic starts. You will learn that a softer tone for one may help a conversation, and a firmer tone may help in another.

Go easy on yourself as you learn and implement this. New skills come from small steps done consistently. Enjoy the journey.

Lets breakdown the 4 types from the  Personality Code. The Direct, Fun Loving, Rule Maker, and the Steady types on what is important to them and how to understand them. I am a hairstylist by trade so I use my experience to know how to discover each one.  Lets have some fun and see if these help you figure out which you are.

Here is a clue to figure out who you may be. If you feel insulted by what I say or you feel seen as I explain it you may be that type. This is normal. You may feel I am a bit harsh on one of them and not on the others. I promise I tried to be direct for all of them. There are no bad traits, it's all in how you use them.

This episode is all about how my life led me to creating my own podcast in the hopes to help others. Never in my life would I have thought I would be here sharing my struggles ever, much less this way. This is a way to hopefully help others learn an easier way to relate to others so they won't have to suffer the way I did.

I created this podcast to help everyone learn how to understand themselves and others. With my experience as a Hairstylist I learned how to relate and communicate with my clients. It isn't always easy to understand how to get to know them and talk with people from all walks of life and personality types. I approach this from a stylists perspective, but also my experience as a Mother. 

Want to know why certain people make you frustrated and some you love? Why some run from you and others want to learn from you? I think I may be able to help. 

My rough beginning in my career helped me figure some things out that I want to share. I now understand how to get to know them and how to ask questions to get the answers I need. I love to learn through stories, so be ready as I laugh at myself through my struggles.
