Mental health and stability are just as vital as physical. In this episode I touch on the effects of society and the impact consequences stemmed from the actions of others. So, crazy is the new normal. Many suffer with mental challenges that in time can cause additional symptoms and obstacles that only those experiencing are able to see, hear or even guess if their surrounding are even real. When someone is raped, there is supposed to be a certain procedure followed by certain protocol. Resources are available, medical care is offered, professionals that are qualified to intervene, listen and offer help. In some situations, arrest and convictions are even made. Mostly though, hope and reassurance are embedded in their outlook and uncertainty. However, what happens with all of that when you are imprisoned in the same system meant to rehabilitate you, protect you, and help you become free in a world you have only witnessed from the courtyard of a prison facility. Now causing you to fall victim of a crime in the exact system and costing you a life sentence that will continue to violate you far beyond your release.

In this episode, I touch base on prison rape and the impact it leaves on a victim at the mercy of a system that not only addresses them as a number but releases them back into society to now have a sentence of imprisonment in their head with no sense of identification and justice.
