Garden historian Advolly Richmond joins Jane Perrone to discuss the garden she selected: the Japanese Garden at Cowden in Scotland. We find out about its founder, the explorer Isabella ‘Ella’ Christie, who became obsessed with Japanese gardens after visiting the country in 1907.
