Jesus’ disciples gave up everything to follow Him, and He invites us to do the same. He calls out to each one of us to swim beyond the shore and the shallows, to trust that He will be with us in the deep. It’s the place where we’re no longer in control, making room for God to do what only He can through our lives. We may feel uncertain at first, but He promises not to let us drown.
