This episode is going to explore the difference between assessment and judgement (and even get into a little bit of how manipulation plays into it). All three play roles in all areas of our lives - especially our health. We all assess and judge (and even manipulate). It's just a matter of recognizing how each plays a role in our lives, and how to take your thoughts from being matters of your head and heart, to matters of your gut feelings and intuition.
We've all be programmed to think and feel a certain way. And a lot of times this translates into shaming if what one person thinks and feels from their heart isn't the "social norm". We all shame and feel shame, and hold back our personal power. This episode dives into the notion of embracing all of you - the good, bad, and the ugly - so that you can uncover the authentic you and stand in your truth without shaming or being shamed.
Whether you're looking to improve your gut health, get physically stronger, lose weight, or manage your anxiety, at some point, enough is enough. You make some changes, and before you know it your mind takes over and you derail yourself from what you know in your heart you need to achieve for yourself. This episode discusses three steps to give you momentum to push through self-sabotage, for when enough is enough.
What does hunger and fullness mean to you? How do you feel about boundaries? This episode dives into the concepts of hunger and fullness, and the boundaries you set or don't set around your life and your food. I encourage you to take a look within, to develop an intuition around what makes you feel hungry or full, and what that would feel like.
What moves you? What keeps you going throughout the day? And how do you notice what gives you energy, and what takes it away? This week's podcast episode touches on factors that produce and rob us of enery, and how to sort out the "woulds and shoulds" with what works for you, and how that affects your gut health.
