Denise Chisholm, Director of Quantitative Market Strategy, joins us again today to share her perspectives on the markets, and the sectors you need to pay attention to right now. Investors are paying close attention to what the inverted yield curve says about the trajectory of the economy. Denise unpacks this today with host Kathryn Black, Director of Sales Enablement, noting that when looking at history, in hindsight a yield curve inversion does predict a recession. But, that recession has historically happened between 6 months to 4 years from the inversion. Also discussed today are geopolitics, bond markets, the economic cycle being driven by bank lending, and the topic of consumer sentiment. Denise also looks at various sectors including a big focus right now on energy, financials, and consumer discretionary.
