It's cool that my friend helped me step outside. Sometimes it's difficult to leave the house, but I'm glad I did this time. Bringing a book to read and being surrounded by nature felt good.
Even though I am feeling depressed right now and don’t want to talk about it, I appreciate you being here for me.

Finding a balance between opening up, bottling things in, and deciding to push through challenges on my own is a constant work in progress. Do you think there are better times than others to talk about what you are going through? When you are feeling depressed, is there a "right" and "wrong" time to open up? When do you feel comfortable talking about your mental health? Let's figure this out together.
I'm so okay with not fitting in. It saddens me at times, but when I realize I wouldn't be here today if I didn't believe in myself and choose who I want to be in this life, rather than who others think I "should" be, I feel a sense of strength. It takes courage to stand on your own character in this world. I hope this episode shows you that you are not alone in fighting projections, perceptions, and even your own self-doubt. Keep going. You got this.
Do you ever think about if you are truly doing something wrong or not? If so, how often do you think about that? In this episode, I share my experiences and thoughts about the worry of always doing something wrong. This can come from anxiety, stress, and so many other factors, but I'm sharing my own experience. If you feel you worry constantly and care to be kind, loving, and helpful to others, this episode is definitely for you.

I am so ready for this to be over. This current obstacle, challenge, and moment I am facing... I'm over it. I'm not giving up. I know I'm not the only one who struggles and feels drained from time to time. We can't give up. We must keep pushing, until the end. I'm rooting for you. We got this.

In this podcast episode, you will hear deep thoughts about life, mental health, and reasons to want to stay. If you are struggling with depression or anxiety, this is a heavy episode (trigger warning). My hope is that sharing shows you it is okay to cry sometimes and let out what you are going through. Talking about your pain can be a healthier way to cope than trying to push through by yourself, and keeping it inside. You are not alone, let’s keep pushing forward the best we can.

When there is a specific reason why I feel depressed, I do my best to remember it. After recently feeling depressed, and having deep inner thoughts, I believe I care about helping other people too much. (Helping other people smile is great, but learning how to help yourself smile a great too)

Feeling numb doesn't feel too comfortable, but I do my best to talk about it. Please know that you are not alone and that we will get through this.
