In August last year, Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced a plan to relocate the capital of Jakarta to Kalimantan. The relocation of the capital will move it to a more central location within Indonesia and address the congestion issues of Jakarta. Malaysia's very own Veritas Design Group was selected as one of the top 3 contenders out of almost 300 contenders to design the new Indonesian capital in Kalimantan. We speak to Ng Yiek Seng and Michael Tan of Veritas about their work.
