We continue learning what it means to be a disciple, as we examine the beginning of Jesus’ ministry and movement. When we read some of the gospels, it seems like the disciples instantaneously abandoned their lives to follow Jesus, with little proof of who He was. Is that what Jesus expects when He asks us to follow Him? What does it mean to “Come and see” who he really is? And why does it matter to us and the rest of the world?

No one on Earth knew Jesus as well as his disciples, the men who became his inner circle of students for the last 3 years of his ministry. What can their relationship teach us about Jesus? “Come and see.”

Easter has passed, and Jesus is alive! So now what? This week's podcast explores the response that we as believers should follow. Jesus told His disciples, which we are now, to live in peace and to go into the world to make other disciples.

Each and every person is on a journey; something inside compels us toward a lifelong search for fulfillment and belonging. But so often we become hopeless in the quest when we just can’t seem to find what we’re looking for. Today we celebrate Jesus, a risen savior who came to confront the effects of evil in this world and over come them. He brings hope to the hopeless.
