When we strive over and over looking for platforms to teach, preach and prophecy within the church, and it's not working out the way we expected, you have to come to a place asking yourself, "am I called to the church or the marketplace?"
People become fixated with platform ministry and believe that is the only place for them to excel and succeed in life. In todays podcast I want to dispel that myth and release you to connect with your assignment outside the four walls.
Taking a step back from your pursuit of ministry and taking a breath for a few weeks will help you recalibrate your purpose in life and truly connect with the assignment God has for you. Enjoy. 

When we detox from a religious mindset we are able to embrace the fullness of the Kingdom of God and its impact in our lives and that of culture and society. Why live in seclusion under rules and regulations when you can experience the freedom God gave you as a man and a king in His Kingdom?

We have all experienced the struggles that come from our minds. Whether we fight against wrongful thoughts, depression or anger, every person has encountered something in their life that has left a scar in their thinking. God desires for you to be free from these things. As a young boy I was subjected to traumatic events and unknowingly it left me with an abandonment mindset that followed me all the way into my 50's until I discovered a truth that liberated me.

When a Christian man can connect with the assignment of God for him in the marketplace it establishes his significance in the Kingdom, his family and in his identity.
For the majority of men in the church, their pulpit is not found inside the four walls. Their pulpit is found in their gifts, talent and abilities, aligned with their dreams, passions and desires inside the Marketplace of influence and business.

We have been so afraid to start something new because we failed the last time, and the time before that. Failure can be your greatest adversary or your best teacher. Fear can cause us to not act, turn the other way or just quit. Or it teachers us what not to do and how to do things better. It expands our thinking and capability that helps us in the long run. Failure, if used to our benefit, will help advance us to the next season.

When there's a passion and a desire to do something in life and it doesn't quite materialize the way you had imagined, there's a tendency to completely give up. American Idol is a perfect example. It is filled with contestants that can not sing, as you have witnessed. This does not mean they have to give up on the music industry. They may have the gift to write music, dance, play an instrument, etc. 
My point is this; if YOUR plans don't work then maybe you should expand your view in the industry, career or business you wish to pursue. You may find there is something you never discovered about yourself.

Dreaming with God has become a lost art. We don't believe that He can do this through us. We are created in His likeness and image and He takes great joy in co-laboring with us as He becomes a part of our dreams and the dreams He has for us in the Kingdom.
