This week I take about a program I developed several years ago to help people find their purpose and destiny in life.
Each segmented is broken up into Labs. Each one is designed to build on the previous Lab so you get a fuller
understanding of who you are and what it is you are called to be in life.
God has a purpose for you, and it is important that we break from a religious mindset and embrace a Kingdom mindset.

In todays podcast I talk about the prophecies you have received over the years and how, when they were given, did not make sense or even line up with the way you were thinking.
So many prophetic people have delivered correct words over the years but may have not used the correct vocabulary.
When we practice prophecy in the church we are accustomed to deliver words that speak about ministry, authority and positions in the church. Very rarely, until this past few years, have we heard words concerning a persons vocation, profession or business.

Our society needs prophetic people at all levels but it doesn't necessarily mean a "Thus Sayeth The Lord" in the board room. What it does need is clear concise solutions to problems and the exposing of future trends in business, technology and science, etc.
For those of us who have set our prophetic words on the 'shelf' because we have not related to them, I would ask you to replace some of the 'christianese' words with marketplace vocabulary. I believe this will give you a better understand of the Word of the Lord in your life.

Part 2.
Choosing to live a lifestyle that contradicts our faith and walk with God can negatively impact our purpose and destiny in life.
The grace and mercy of God always extends the opportunity for us to change from those areas that hinder our walk. God is very patient and forgiving.
Walking away from our purpose does not mean God withdraws His hand from our life. He will bless you and keep you but you will not fulfill the role God called you too.

Our choices determine our future. Whether we decide to fulfill our destiny or not. His mercy and grace still cover our lives.

Carrying an offense can be detrimental to your future. We are witnessing the affects of this in society around the world.
God never created you to carry this weight. It will rob you of time, peace, sleep, appetite. 
Someone once said that unforgiveness is you drinking a bottle of poison while wishing bad things upon someone else.
Don’t allow offense/unforgiveness to rob you of your destiny.

What do you think about? Is what you are thinking about, causing you from advancing forward?
Listening to the negative thoughts and scripts from our past has a debilitating affect on our lives.
These lies, or events, impact the way we live life and how we see ourselves in the future.

A great exercise would be to write down these negative thoughts you have and then read them back to yourself.
When you actually hear yourself speaking these words there should be a response coming from your own mouth,
that recognizes them as untrue. A wrongful narrative. And from there you can begin to reconstruct the way those words, 
thoughts and feelings play out in your life.

Connecting with your passion is something that God placed with in you to begin with. 
We have allowed a religious mindset to minimize our passion because we are of the belief that we need to set aside our dreams as it
interferes with our relation and duty unto the Lord. That is incorrect. God created you with a purpose. Within that purpose is a passion that
gets your attention and you see yourself doing it.

Passion needs refinement and instruction in combination with your gifts, talents and abilities. 

We are what the world is looking for. We have the answers to questions and the solutions to problems. Learn of the things of God and couple
them with the passion He has placed in your life and GO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE KINGDOM.

"Destiny - the art of navigating through obstacles toward an intended season where you are fully alive and fully engaged in doing what you are called to do." 

Seeing the future God has for us would help greatly when it comes to navigating through certain seasons. That is not always the case. 
God simply wants us to trust Him as we endure the process through certain seasons. There are times when Destiny can feel like its a blind walk but 
God always reveals Himself when we need Him the most.

Sometimes it’s a good thing not knowing what we are called to do, at least in the beginning. Why? 
Because if we knew what it was we may run the opposite direction feeling totally inadequate to fulfill the task, 
or we can end up copping an attitude thinking we know it all and God will just drop it into our lap. 

Once we have begun to endure the ‘process for purpose’ then God will begin to unravel the mystery before our eyes. 

As a side note, God does not bring chaos or calamity upon your life, that is not His nature or His design. 
He does however give you the power and authority to stand in the face of adversity.

Your have been designed for a purpose, let us build it together.

Are you distressed, discontent and in-debted? Speaking to the three D’s.

When you find yourself in a tough place, not knowing what is going on in your life, it is the 'pull' of your purpose drawing you into your true identity. 
When your current situation causes attitudes and criticism to arise its a key indicator that underlying areas need to be addressed. 
For me the frustrations that surfaced were in relation to what I was doing in church and not becoming fulfilled in what I did. There was a missing piece in my life.
The importance of recognizing what we are saying, feeling and thinking are key areas that can help or hider our future.

Taking the bull by the horns was the turning point in my life. I had to internally reflect on what was taking place, find answers to questions, and begin to organize my thoughts and lifestyle in regards to my assignment. What I was saying and thinking was in direct conflict to where I needed to go in life.

I would criticize individuals in what they were doing, and come to find out, I was dealing with the same issues also.
It's so easy to blame others for your problems. It takes a real person to face their demons and become vulnerable to individuals they trust to help them navigate through this pivotal season.

Our life cries out for the fulfillment of the assignment of God.

Identity in regards to the millennials is pivotal in this season. We, as the boomer/buster generation, must be in a place to be able to empower them to connect with their true identity, without us dictating to them. 
We are to come alongside them and lend a listening ear. We need to get our identity in right order also. What good are we as a previous generation who have struggled with ours, attempting to help the millennials figure out who they are?
We are a generation that have paid a price in gaining ground, making mistakes and learning from them so we can help equip the next generation. They don't have to start where we started, we have given them a leg up in order to carry the torch on to the next season in their lives.

Identity is probably the most significant part of who we are as an individual. It sets us up for the future and who we will become, or at least the intended person we should become and also the person we are today. We had no control when we were born, our parents, culture or ethnicity, and even the specific geographical location on the planet.
Facing who we have become can be a struggle for some people, especially when we know there are certain things in our lives where we either need professional help or just a one on one sit down with someone.
Accepting Christ into our lives wipes the slate clean, and we get to live again. However, our soulish realm still has areas that need attention, and when not dealt with can potentially slow down the process of us advancing toward our future. When taking on the identity of Christ, the baggage we have carried for many years gets exposed. 
When certain buttons get pushed we react in a certain way. Well, that is the exposing of areas we need to jettison from our journey so that it doesn't create an obstacle in the future. 
It is truly a journey, where God sees you as a complete person, fully restored in to the man He created you to be.
