Hello everyone and welcome back to the DYA Network..Network Nation. We bring you an extraordinary guest today who has been in the world of volleyball for over forty years. Twenty-five of these years were spent as the head women's volleyball coach at The Ohio State University. During his tenure at OSU, the Buckeyes won three Big Ten Conference Championships and participated in 15 NCAA Tournaments. In 2007 he retired from OSU but not from coaching. While leading the Buckeyes to a career record, he was also a part of the USA coaching staff. After retiring collegiate coaching, he continued to coach with USA Volleyball, more recently serving as the head coach for the U.S. Girls' Youth National Team. Under his guidance at USA Volleyball, he has taken the Men's, Women's and Girls' teams to countless international and National Championships, winning gold and silver medals at the NORCECA Championships and a Silver Medal at the FIVB Girls' U-18 World Championships in Peru. Our guest has a passion for the game and educating players and coaches. He is a contributing editor to the art of coaching volleyball where he has written and done videos on instructional tips and strategies.
